Commercial General Contractor providing design build services for commercial, office, medical and retail businesses in the Austin/Central Texas area. Our pre-construction team works with you to define your vision about your build out and translates that into a project plan with project cost estimates and a project implementation schedule. Once our design team has established the type of plans your project will require, we will work with your input to draw up either dimensioned sketches or detailed drawings with specs developed by our professional architects and engineers.

Once the final specifications have been established we then begin the cost take off phase. Our proposals lay out the scope of work and draw schedules.  We will provide a preliminary timeline based on all the assumptions provided and any particular milestones, such as a scheduled Grand Opening or Lease start date, the Baseline schedule is developed in the pre-construction process and breaks the implementation process down into phases and establishes milestones.

Depending on the build out, Construction Permits may be required from the local municipality prior to commencing work. Submitting plans to the permitting authority and processing the required documents to acquire the building permits is included in our pre-construction services scope.

Building codes and municipal regulations will set the requirements for the permits you will need whether it is new construction, building renovations or an improvement project.  Each city will have their own processes, procedures, and forms for filing and pulling a construction permits.

CapitalTexas Construction provides building permitting services with all Central Texas municipalities. As design build contractors, we collaborate with Architects and design professionals to produce plans and secure the construction permits required. However, if a client has plans and/or design drawings, we will review to ensure accuracy and submit to the appropriate permitting authority to secure permits as the general contractor.

Once you are in your new building and are ready to operate out of your new space, our transition team will provide you with your documentation for warranties, maintenance directions, as-built, building color palettes, operating manuals and guidelines for your operations and maintenance team and can arrange training.
